ABC Fun and 123
ABC Fun and 123
offers age-appropriate learning activities, exercises and stories at a glance, which will stimulate children and not burn them out at this early age.
It's an easy-to-use preschool curriculum to make learning the ABC fun! We have used it with two of our younger children and it is so simple to use, especially if you have older children which you homeschool, as you can slip in a fun lesson here and there and include it in your daily routines with ease.
It includes weekly preschool lesson plans, printable preschool worksheets, easy kids crafts, preschool & kindergarten themes, children’s stories, preschool songs, nursery rhymes and more!
ABC Fun and 123 is a culmination of good ideas and teaching tips learnt by to Shirley, the author, during the eight+ years that she has been homeschooling. She has incorporated these ideas into a learning system that is easy to follow with little ones in the busy-ness of home educating and home working lifestyles.
Please note: This is NOT a phonics/reading programme. It is intended to be used as a fun introduction to the letters of the alphabet with preschool-aged children that are not yet ready to learn to read using a formal phonics programme. Neither is this a Math curriculum. It simply gives suggestions for fun ways for children to experience number concepts in the concrete world of their home environment. The weekly lesson plans include the following preschool activities:
When you buy ABC fun and 123 the greatest benefit is that you do not only buy a curriculum for your little one, you "buy" Shirley's veteran experience and mother's heart.
"The mother's heart is the child's schoolroom." Henry Ward Beecher

“A mother’s first duty to her children is to secure for them a quiet and growing time, a full six years of passive receptive life,
the waking part of it for the most part spent out in the fresh air.” (Charlotte Mason)
