Charlotte Mason - Mother Culture
A 21st Century Perspective!
Charlotte Mason says to us mothers:
“If we would do our best for our children, grow we must; and on our power of growth surely depends,
not only our future happiness, but our future usefulness. Is there, then, not need for more ‘Mother Culture’?” (Parents Review, Vol. 3, No. 2).
How does a homeschool mom to continue to grow intellectually so that she is able to be a happy useful person in her home and community?
How can she, in this 21st Century, partake in what Charlotte Mason called Mother Culture especially when there are so many other things that take her time?
Let’s see what we homeschool mums already do...
Parent … Wife … Teacher … Home Manager … Cook … Maid … Seamstress … Gardener … Taxi Driver
If we look at this list is there anywhere in that that is feeding our own mind? That we are growing with our children?
Preparing ourselves for a "future usefulness"?
21st Century Mother Culture for you!
Now here is
your opportunity to partake in a little 21st Century Charlotte Mason Mother Culture…like I did a few years back,
which has now become a habit for life!
Sitesell Elearning is an education for
homeschooling moms like no other!
What would you think if I told you that after 12 weeks you would be walking among the many self employed, but still at home and homeschooling?
Would you believe me if I said that after 90 minutes per week for 12 weeks you would have knowledge about online marketing, HTML skills, net writing
and building an online busines?
How about the fact that after 12 weeks with Sitesell E-Learning, you will be earning some pocket money from your own valuable knowledge
(cooking, gardening or anything else) which will eventually grow to a wave of income? Talk about future usefulness!
Maybe I must just explain the difference to you about Sitesell and Sitesell E-learning –
Sitesell is the company through whom I built this site
(and my other 3). They gave me the tools I needed to do it. But it was up to me to work through the Action Guide alone and figure out hiccups along the way.
Sometimes it was hard and long hours spent at my computer and often I wished for someone to show me the way, but besides the lively forums, it was just lil ol' me!
But no more...
But with Sitesell E-learning you get an assigned mentor to teach and train you as you work through the process of building a website.
When I look back at my last 3 years with SBI I am ever so grateful that I took the plunge.
Now do I have an info business that earns me well over $2000 per month and that has sure been useful with the economic situation being
what it is right now!
And I have learnt so much about the internet, marketing, writing, publishing, graphics and obviously web design.
So if you are looking for that little extra in your life, something to get excited about, or a way to generate income from home
while homeschooling your children, look no further – look at Sitesell Elearning
– Mother Culture with a difference.
"If mothers could learn to do for themselves what they do for their children when these are overdone, we should have happier households.
Let the mother go out to play! If she would have the courage to let everything go when life becomes too tense, and just take a day, or half a day,
out in the fields, or with a favourite book, or in a picture gallery looking long and well at just two or three pictures, or in bed, without the children,
[or build a website :-)] life would go on far more happily for both children and parents. The mother would then be able to hold herself in "wise passiveness’ and would not fret her
children by continual interference even of hand or eye - she would let them be."
