Homeschool Daily ScheduleYour homeschool daily schedule gives you the anchors you need to achieve in a day all you need to as a busy homeschool mom.
A homeschool daily schedule gives mom the ability to move from activity to activity knowing that each necessary goal can be achieved. The schedule moves with the ebb and flow of the home in conjunction with the learning disciplines and character training times that continually pop up in a homeschool. The word “schedule” is always such a restricting term and it sends shivers up some people’s spines. It needn’t. A schedule is no more than a plan so that you have anchors in your day. I have found meal times to be the starting point for planning a daily schedule, and if there are babies in the house – their feed and nap times. The flow in a daily schedule can easily be upset by bad choices and we should do what we can to prevent unnecessary interruption and thus prevent a bad homeschool day A good daily schedule to follow could look like this:
Part of being diligent with our homeschooling means that we do not lie in bed until we feel like getting up, let our children sleep until 9 am and spend their day in the pajamas. Finding the balance in your homeschooling schedule takes a while, but each day lay out your plans for your family and do you best to achieve them with a gracious spirit.
