Jeannie Fulbright's Astronomy

We have thoroughly enjoyed reading Jeannie Fulbright's Astronomy book. I have a science background and find she has a very conversational and interesting way to present scientific information. Plenty of details yet not overwhelming or dry in presentation. I love her notebook ideas and science experiments at the end of each chapter. They are neither time consuming nor require out of the ordinary supplies. A great extra is her online supplement. Terrific websites to see real pictures of space.

My children are girls ages 11 and 8 1/2. One is science oriented and the other is not yet they both enjoyed this book.

I definitely plan on using her other science books in the coming years.
