This is my Site Build It success story! I have always wanted to travel internationally, but living on one income does not leave much scope for jet setting around the globe. Besides the fact that with four children, a home and other financial commitments there was never space for saving towards a trip either.

Maybe you have a similar situation - a dream that you are financially unable to fulfill? When I decided to build this website to encourage and help homeschooling moms I needed a web design/hosting company that would give me a step by step process as I didn’t have any idea on how web design worked or how to work with “hmtl”.

So I chose Site Build It! which is part of the Sitesell organization. They promised me the ability to build and maintain my own site and had a amazing array of free extra's to go along with their basic site building/hosting platform. The only problem was that I had to pay an annual fee to cover these fantastic features. When converted to South African Rands the fee was half of my monthly grocery bill. So they advised that most people using Site Build It! use Google Adsense to help pay for their fees. In some cases Adsense has worked so well that SBI owners were able to leave their jobs an have their websites being the primary source of income. Now that sounded great to me, so I went for the Adsense program.

Remembering that all I wanted was to cover my annual hosting fee of $299 I share the rest of my Site Build It success story to show how amazed I am to be achieving another dream – international travel! This year it is London...next year we hope to travel around South Africa for 6 weeks with our children. And who knows after that?

After the second month of adding Adsense to my site (about 4 months after building) I was able to pay for my annual hosting fee. My traffic was between 80 and 100 visitors daily. This has steadily climbed to visitors between 500 and 600 per day.

The Sitesell Inc Affiliate Program has also been another stream of revenue from my site, and in the last year, 9 other homeschooling moms have also joined the Site Build It! Team. Their purchases of an SBI site pays me a fee directly from Sitesell Inc - which doesn't affect their price at all. None of them are doing homeschooling related sites – they are making sites about their passions and interests.

Ali has created a site on Family Holidays in Cape Town , South Africa. Jennifer has started a site on Timeshare Options, Jo is building a science website and Denise is busy creating a site on interior decorating amongst others. Each has their own success story to tell.

This website ministry has blessed and encouraged over 10 000 homeschooling moms in May 2008 and that figure increases each month. By using the Site Build It model we have been thrilled by the revenue stream from my site. Now with the savings, after tithing, my husband and I are going on a trip to London for 6 days all expenses paid by this website.
